"Nice pack a little bulkier than a regular hip pack not much flex or conforming holds it shape. Have not tested the submerged capabilities but it did keep our things dry after a few splashes of water. I have the “Native Sendero” belt-pack and Hitchhiker and the graphics are not as clear and defined as in the product photos not sure if I just got a bad batch or what. Overall seem like decent products other than the image/print quality."
"I like everything about this except the zippers! They are hard to zip, even after lubricant. The zipper on front side is constantly pulling apart, not sealing closed! This makes using it susceptible to losing stuff and getting wet inside! It does hold everything you need while on water but I don’t trust the zippers! Also, the strap is wide and not very comfortable when used across chest but it is durable. Bote needs to upgrade zippers to be trustworthy!"
"Room is nice. I hope the zipper holds up inwas under the impression that it a a reel zipper like the sling bag. I had the smaller version but the zipper broke. Of course it was out of warranty. It is water proof. The strap is not long enough though. Returning would cost me the consumer close to 20$ due to restocking and shipping fee. I will think twice before ordering from the company again. I forgot when i ordered the last set of bags about the return fee."
"I’m on a team of 5 women who are training to row the Great American Loop in a Rannoch ocean rowing boat. One of the challenges has been finishing gear that is effective, efficient , and water proof. One item that I needed was a bag to hold everything that I needed in order to spend at least 6 hours on the deck of the boat between breaks in the cabin. It needed to be large enough to fit the necessary items, but small enough to quickly grab and move with as we rotate between rowing and steering positions on the boat. I trialed several products and learned what didn’t work. I purchased the Highwater Belt Pack because it had all the qualities I was looking for. I had the opportunity to test it this past weekend when we completed 2 12 hour overnight rows. It was perfect!!! It held my snacks, electrolytes, headlamp, extra phone chargers, oar grips, hand sanitizer…and would have held even more. When I took it off my waist for rowing I was able to clip it securely in the boat next to me. It was worth every penny and I’m recommending it to my teammates."
